Hello and thanks for dropping by.

We are the Hearts and Minds Partnership.

We’re excited to share some news with you about the launch of our partnership that aims to connect and support community-led perinatal mental health services across England.

What we are going to do.

There are so many pockets of brilliance across grass roots support services in our sector. This presents an amazing opportunity to connect organisations, learn from each other and share what works well.

We are planning to host a series of regional and national workshops and events to enable people to come together as well as develop and deliver bespoke training to support emerging groups who are committed to supporting families affected by mental health issues during pregnancy and after birth.

We will also create an England-wide map of safe, good quality, user-led perinatal mental health services. This is vital for parents who don’t meet the threshold for specialist perinatal services and are unsure of where to turn for help.

Why we care.

With more than 30 years’ collective experience working at a community level, we are passionate about the way in which dynamic, well developed grass roots organisations can provide incredible support for families in the perinatal period.

We understand first-hand the challenges of growing a service from scratch, so now is the time to share this learning and enable parents to have access to safe, well-led perinatal wellbeing support in their local areas.

As a Partnership we are committed to supporting the wellbeing of those associated with the project. It is our intention to promote equality and diversity, given the importance of accessibility of services for all.
